I’ve been really busy getting ready for Art Fair. I’ve still got a ton of labeling to do. But I figured I’d take time out to blog a bit.
So, what is Art Fair? It’s officially four separate art fairs that take place at the same time in Ann Arbor every July. It’s pretty hard to tell where one fair ends and the next one begins though, and the locals just call the whole shebang “Art Fair.” It kind of takes over the downtown area. It’s huge. I don’t even know how many booths there are. Artists come from all over the country to vend. Luckily for me, it’s just a short bus ride away.
I’ll be at the Ann Arbor Fiberarts Guild booth at State Street and North University, along with about two dozen amazingly talented fiber artists. I’ll have my yarn there, as well as some woven stuff. Other guild members will have dolls, jewelry, clothing, art quilts, and other incredible things. I hope if you’re anywhere near southeast Michigan you can stop by. The fair runs July 21-24 (next Wednesday through Saturday).
Ok, back to labeling…
