Are you a knitwear or crochet designer? Have you looked at the yarns on our website and found the gears in your head turning, thinking of designs that would look fantastic in Happy Fuzzy Yarn? Let’s talk.
If we accept your design in our yarn, we will publish the pattern and distribute via PDF on our online shop, Ravelry, and through our retailers.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for designs that take advantage of hand-dyed yarns, either semi-solids, multi-colors, or a combination of the two. Sweaters, shawls, scarves, cowls, hats, fingerless mitts, mittens, socks, and other accessories for women and men (we are not looking for children’s or babies’ wear at this time), that are comfortable to wear and look awesome. Clothes that you’ll want to wear all the time.
We will consider all submissions for unique, previously unpublished designs. One or two skein projects are especially welcome.
What we offer
Designers of accepted patterns will receive a percentage of pattern sales, paid quarterly via PayPal.
Happy Fuzzy Yarn will provide yarn support for all accepted patterns as well as tech-editing, photography, and layout.
Designers retain full rights to their designs, but Happy Fuzzy Yarn retains exclusive publication rights for the duration of the contract.
